Holiday Drop-in Shop Wish List
Donations of new or like-new clothing and toiletries are always welcome at the Opportunity Center. Here are the top items on the wish list for the holiday drop-in shop on December 20:
- Sleeping bags
- Back packs
- Blow-up mattresses or sleeping mats (inflatable without a pump)
- Warm coats/heavy hoodies (adult sizes)
- Bus Passes (tokens for VTA are in high demand)
- Gift cards for Walmart or meals (such as Subway, McDonalds, Taco Bell)
- Undergarments (NEW underwear and socks for men and women)
Donations for the holiday drop-in-shop will be gratefully accepted at the Opportunity Center, 33 Encina Way, Palo Alto, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday until December 19.
Your support enables CWG to provide rent subsidies to ensure low-income families are able to stay in their homes, cover all non-staff operational costs for the Opportunity Center’s service centers, contract with providers such as InnVision Shelter Network and Palo Alto Housing Corp to manage housing and services, and maintain the Opportunity Center and Alma Garden. Your support also enables CWG to continue to respond to community requests and research and develop potential new affordable housing opportunities.
Please make a financial gift and help us provide affordable housing and services for very low-income and homeless individuals and families, thus improving the quality of life for us all!
You may give online or mail your gift to:
